Nick Pultz of Hartford High School Soccer is our WSJM Sports Van 
Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the week of October 22, 2017.
Nick anchored Hartford’s defensive effort that led them to the Regional Finals. The Indians shut out Bridgman for the District Championship, shut out Potters House Christian in the Regional Semi-Finals, and allowed just an overtime goal in their Regional Championship match against Hackett. On the offensive side, he scored Hartford’s only goal in their 1-0 Regional Semi-Final win.
Nick earned All-State honors his Freshman year. In the classroom, he carries a 3.65 grade point average.
Nick is the son of David and Dorothy Pultz of Hartford.
Other finalists for the week were Craig Thompson of South Haven Cross Country and Veronica Bell of Decatur Cross Country.
