Ellie Frost of South Haven High School Swimming is our WSJM Sports Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the week of November 11, 2018.
At the Division 3 State Finals, Ellie won the individual state championship in the 50 Freestyle with a new school record time of :23.43. She placed 3rd overall in the 100 Freestyle with a new school record time of :51.54. She also swam legs for the 200 Freestyle Relay team and the 200 Medley Relay team that also posted a new school record time.
Ellie is also a member of the South Haven National Honor Society, Student Council, and Band. In the classroom, she carries a 4.3 grade point average.
Ellie is the daughter of John and Carey Frost of South Haven.
Another finalist for the week was Chase Sager of Edwardsburg Football.
