Brett Robertson of Bangor High School Track is our WSJM Sports Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the week of May 27, 2018.
At the Division 3 State Championships, Brett earned All-State honors in the 110 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles. He placed 4th in the 300 Hurdles and placed 5th in the 110 Hurdles with a personal best time of :15.35. Previous to the State Finals, he won the conference and regional championships in both events.
Brett is also a member of the National Honor Society, Band, and Boys Scouts. In the classroom, he carries a 3.69 grade point average.
Brett is the son of James and Jean Robertson of Grand Junction.
