Student Athlete Of The Week – Patrick Sawyer

Patrick Sawyer of St. Joseph High School Swimming is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of February 19, 2017. At the Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference Championship Meet, Patrick finished 6th overall in the 500 Meter Freestyle with a time of 5:09.62. His time qualified him for the Division 3 State Finals. He also swam the 200 Freestyle and a leg of the 400 Meter Freestyle Relay.

Patrick is also a member of the National Honor Society, Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and Lake Michigan Youth Orchestra. In the classroom, he carries a 3.83 grade point average.

Patrick is the son of Keith and Bridgette Sawyer of St. Joseph.

Another finalist for the week was Emily Feldten of Coloma Bowling.
