Andrew Duckett of Brandywine High School Track is Berrien County’s Student Athlete of the Week for the week of May 17, 2015. At the BCS Conference Championship Meet, Andrew won the 110 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, 100 Meter Dash, and 200 Meter Dash. With the performance, he was named the meet’s Most Valuable Performer. He was also honored as top male athlete in the conference.
Andrew was also a member of the football and basketball teams, and National Honor Society. In the classroom, he graduates with a 3.6 grade point average.
Other finalists for the week were Kayla Rosenbaum of Michigan Lutheran Softball and Melissa Swanson of Watervliet Track.
