Isaac Weir of Lakeshore High School Wrestling is Berrien County’s Student Athlete of the Week for the week of January 10, 2016. Isaac won his dual meet matches against St. Joe and Benton Harbor. He then went 5-0 at the Lowell Team Tournament to go 7-0 on the week.
Isaac is also an All-Conference member of the Lancer Football team. In the classroom, he carries a 3.9 grade point average.
Isaac is the son of Debbie and Roger Weir of Stevensville.
Other finalists for the week were Nick Knowlton of Bridgman Basketball, Morgan Shewmaker of Lakeshore Basketball, and Curtis Dawson of Benton Harbor Basketball.
