Student Athlete Of The Week – April 17, 2015

Andrew Duckett of Brandywine School Track is Berrien County’s Student Athlete of the Week for the week of April 5, 2015. At the Bridgman Invitational, Andrew ran a leg for the winning 1600 Meter Relay team along with winning the 110 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, and Long Jump.

Andrew is the defending state champion in the 300 Hurdles. He’s also a member of the Football and Basketball teams, and National Honor Society. In the classroom, he carries a 3.6 grade point average.

Andrew is the son of Mike and Barb Duckett of Niles.

Other finalists for the week were Lizzie Stolte of Lake Michigan Catholic Track, Jessica Boyd of St. Joe Softball, Alaina Riedel of St. Joe Tennis, and Madisen Rye of Coloma Softball.
