Division 2 Softball Quarterfinals
Wayland Union 2, St. Joe 0
CJ Miller delivered a two run home run in the bottom of the 6th to lift Wayland Union to a 2-0 win over St. Joe. The Bears end the season at 35-9 after capturing the school’s first softball regional championship in 30 years.
Division 3 Baseball Quarterfinals
Buchanan 7, Lansing Catholic 4
Buchanan advanced to the state semi-finals with a 7-4 over Lansing Catholic. The Bucks ran out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning. They added a run in the 5th, two in the 6th, and two more in the 7th to earn the win. Buchanan advances to take on Gladstone Friday morning at 11:30 in East Lansing.
