South Haven High School varsity boys’ basketball coach Jamin Olds is resigning from the position after five years. Olds will be stepping down to
“It became a challenge to both be a coach and fulfill my duties as athletic director,” Olds said.
Under Olds, the Rams had a 70-43 record, and played in the Class B regional finals in the 2012-2013 season.
South Haven is already seeking potential candidates for the coaching position. “We’re looking for someone to put a lot of time into our kids,” Olds said. “We want them to be able to help the kids play to their strengths, which I feel we’ve done a good job of here.”
South Haven went 11-9 last year, and is looking to become one of the area’s top teams in the coming years.
