Lake Michigan College 75, Lansing Community College 50
Lake Michigan College remained in a first place tie in the MCCAA Western Conference with a 75-50 win over Lansing.
After Lansing opened the game on a 7-0 run, the Lady Red Hawks scored the next nine points and steadily pulled away from there. Samantha Jenkins poured in a game high 22 points for LMC, Jayla Bibbs added 21. Lansing got 16 points from Jaylynn Williams.
With the win, the Lady Red Hawks remain tied with Muskegon atop the conference standings. The Jayhawks defeated Glen Oaks 66-39. LMC hosts Muskegon Wednesday night at 5:30.

A Lake Michigan College second half rally fell
short at the Red Hawks lost to Lansing 75-60.
The Stars led by 11 at the break and increased their advantage to 16 in the second half. LMC made a run to cut the deficit to six, but that’s as close as they could get.
Andrew McGuirt led three Red hawks in double figures with 17 points, including five 3 pointers. Lansing got 15 points from Emmanuel Gildo.
