Karsyn Stewart – Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week

Karsyn Stewart of Bridgman High School Cross Country is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of October 13, 2019. Karsyn won the River Valley Invitational with a time of 20:07 and helped lead the Bees to the team title. Later in the week, she won the Kalamazoo Christian Invitational and broke the Bridgman school record in the process with a time of 19:45.

Karsyn is also a member of the Bridgman Track team, Key Club, Interact Club, and DECA. In the classroom, she carries a 3.9 grade point average.

Karsyn is the daughter of Chad and Nichole Stewart of Bridgman.

Other finalists for the week were Conner Casey of Lake Michigan Catholic Football, Levi Zelmer of Buchanan Football, and Karly Klaer of St. Joe Volleyball.
