Only one day after parting ways with longtime head coach Jason Garrett, the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy.
Cowboys officials interviewed just two candidates for the head coaching job, Marvin Lewis on Friday and 56-year-old McCarthy on Saturday.
McCarthy spent 13 years as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers, compiling a 125-77-2 mark. He won Super Bowl XLV at AT&T Stadium with the Packers in 2011 and defeated the Cowboys in the 2017 NFC divisional round of the playoffs at AT&T Stadium.
