Berrien County Student Athlete Of The Week – Morgan Wagner

Morgan Wagner of Coloma High School Softball is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of April 8, 2018. In the Comets’ doubleheader sweeps of Buchanan and Gobles, Morgan went a combined 9 for 11 at the plate, including two home runs, four doubles, 12 RBIs, and eight runs scored. Defensively at catcher, she threw out the only stolen base attempt against her.

Morgan is also a member of the volleyball and basketball teams, and National Honor Society. In the classroom, she carries a 3.8 grade point average.

Morgan is the daughter of Chris Fox and Ron Wagner.

Other finalists for the week were Emily Knight of Berrien Springs Softball and Kaylee Thompson of Niles Track.
