Berrien County Student Athlete Of The Week – Josh Young

Josh Young of Coloma High School Track is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of April 29, 2018. In the Comets’ meet against Martin, Josh won the 400 Meter Dash and ran a leg for the winning 800 and 1600 Meter Relay teams. Then at the Rotary Track Meet, he won the 200 and 400 Meter Dashes, and ran a leg for the winning 800 and 1600 Meter Relay teams.

Josh is also a member of the Coloma Cross Country team and National Honor Society. In the classroom, he carries a 3.7 grade point average.

Josh is the son of Brad and Becky Young.

Other finalists for the week were Lynea Slayback of St. Joseph Track, Ashley Ke of St. Joseph Tennis, Jacob Hoover of Buchanan Baseball, and LA Smith of Watervliet Track.
