Berrien County Student Athlete Of The Week – Jamison Zimmerman

Jamison Zimmerman of Niles High School Wrestling is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of January 28, 2018. In the Vikings’ dual match against Lakeshore, Jamison won his match win a pin in just :38. Then at the Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference Tournament, he won the 103 lb. title with two pins and a decision. His two pins both came :29 into the match.

Jamison is also a member of the football team and Student Council. In the classroom, he carries a 3.79 grade point average.

Jamison is the son of Bill and Heather Zimmerman of Niles.

Other finalists for the week were Sam Spaulding of Berrien Springs basketball, Cassie Pallett of Lakeshore basketball, and Alycia Patterson of Niles basketball.
