Berrien County Student Athlete Of The Week – Jamison Zimmerman

Jamison Zimmerman of Niles High School Wrestling is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of January 20, 2019.

At the Greater Berrien County Invitational, Jamison won the 103 lb. Championship and earned the Outstanding Wrestler Award for the 103-140 lb. weight classes. He recorded a pin in :22 seconds in his first match against Coloma. He then pinned his opponent from St. Joe in 1:28. In the championship match, he won a 7-5 decision against Lakeshore.

Jamison is also a member of the football and baseball teams, and National Honor Society. In the classroom, he carries a 3.8 grade point average.

Jamison is the son of Heather and Billy Zimmerman of Niles.
