Elizabeth Stolte
Lake Michigan Catholic High School
Elizabeth Stolte of Lake Michigan Catholic High School is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Female Student Athlete of the Year.
Elizabeth earned varsity letters in golf all four years. She earned Medalist honors at the Regional Finals each of the past two years, qualifying her for the State Finals each year. Her junior year, she became the first female golfer in school history to qualify for the State Finals.
In cross country, Elizabeth was just a few places away from qualifying for the State Finals.
In track, Elizabeth qualified for the State Finals in each of the past three years. This past season, she finished 9th overall in the 200 Meter Dash. She won three BCS Conference White Division championships, and placed 2nd in the 200 Meter Dash and 3rd in the 100 Meter Dash at the Regional Finals.
Aside from being a three sports athlete, Elizabeth graduated with a 4.0 grade point average and was Valedictorian of her class. She was also involved with National Honor Society, Drama Club, Key Club, Student Council, First Robotics, Interact Club, Band, Choir, The First Tee Program, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
She will be attending the University of Michigan majoring in Chemical Engineering with the hope of a career as an officer in the United States Navy.
Elizabeth is the daughter of Arthur and Deborah Stolte of Stevensville.
