Covert Forfiets Friday's game
According to the Kalamazoo Gazette (http://www.mlive.com/kzgazette/news/index.ssf/2008/10/covert_forfeits_fridays_footba.html). Covert has officially forfeited their last game, which was supposed to be Friday night at home vs. Mendon.
The Bulldogs are now 1-8 on the season. In the last two weeks, Covert has lost to White Pigeon 65-0, and lost to Eau Claire 57-0. In the loss to Eau Claire, the Bulldogs dressed only 12 players. The Bulldogs also gave up one of their three home games. Covert's only two games this season have been a 18-14 win over Gary Bowman Academy in week 2, and a 32-0 loss to Centreville in week 3. Other than those two games. The Bulldogs have been on the road the other 6 weeks.
Mendon is now 9-0 on the season, a season that included two forfeit wins.
